2011 Land Rover Freelander 2
The 2011 Land Rover Freelander 2 range of models on sale in the UK from late September 2010, has a 2.2-liter diesel engine is available with the new versions of 150 hp or 190P, a new exterior look interior modifications, including new dashboard and a new Premium Pack option.
New turbo diesel engine is available in 4WD Land Rover TD4 150 hp model with manual transmission and intelligent Stop / Start technology standard (automatic, without the stop / start is available as an option), or a new model produces 190PS SD4 (also available with automatic transmission only).
The new engine is quieter, more efficient and the two derivatives with 20 Nm torque than the engine output. This means that the Freelander 2 2011 offers improved engine response and midrange power for towing. CO2 emissions have been reduced significantly to 165g/km and 185g/km respectively, the corresponding fuel savings.
De
spite the reduction in fuel consumption and emissions, there has been no compromise on performance. The Lighthouse Land Rover Freelander SD4 190p accelerates from rest to 60 mph in 8.7 seconds with a top speed increased to 118 mph. Besides being upgraded from EU4 EU5, both versions have a variable geometry turbocharger and new have been extensively recalibrated to provide new levels of power, to meet emission standards and reduce CO2 emissions. They are equipped with a diesel particulate filter as standard and are now compatible catalyzed with 10 percent biodiesel, rather than 5 percent.
